Step into the world of art and dance as the Dance Together Project graces Assembly Park this Winter and Spring.
Assembly Park is partnering with the Dance Together Project to host ongoing indoor programming at the spacious and wheelchair accessible Studios on our grounds, in collaboration with York Region Arts Council. The programming will include artistic process residencies with local dance artists, community dance workshops in diverse styles, and works-in-progress showings and events open to the community.
The Dance Together Project transforms public spaces and celebrates community through diverse and inclusive dance workshops, vibrant visual art and live music. The project offers free workshops and events that centre on positive and accessible dance experiences, open to all ages, levels and abilities.
Assembly Park will kick-off Dance Together’s season opening with celebrations taking place on January 27th, 2024. So, mark your calendars and get ready to sway, twirl, and revel in the magic of movement at the Dance Together Festival, where unity and diversity become one on the dance floor.
