“The Soul of the VMC” partners with the YRAC to bring the Vaughan art community together and put local talent on display

York Region Arts Council (YRAC) is thrilled to present Artist Circle at Assembly Park. Artist Circle is YRAC’s signature artist networking event that only happens a few times a year. The Artist Circle will be open to the public and will be an opportunity for local artists to share and speak about their work with the community, arts organizations, and tourism stakeholders from around the region. The Vaughan community is invited to experience Artist Circle at Assembly Park on February 28, 2023, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

“York Region Arts Council (YRAC) is thrilled to partner with Assembly Park to build an environment that offers more opportunities for creativity to co-exist and be ingrained into the fabric of the community,” says Monica del Rio Pain, Director of Programming and Operations. “Through this partnership, YRAC will provide its experience and connectivity to the arts community and work with Assembly Park to create diverse and accessible art experiences that include creation, exploration, collaboration and presentation. This partnership drives our mission to be a hub for arts and culture in York Region and aligns us with a place-making champion who is committed to creating space for art within its community plan.”

The evening will showcase exhibitions and performances by YRAC members, collaborators, as well as guest speakers, putting local regional talent on full display and celebrating the arts in the community. Building and nurturing communities is something that is very important to artists as well as those in the artist space.

Get inspired by the multidisciplinary artists, visual artists and performance art featuring works by Madeline Fiore, Christos Damianos, and Kristina Moraru and Galina Nikita from kri8mor collective.
